when the worship songs
are sung.
We found the perfect place today,
where heaven touched the earth,
and earth the face of heaven.
I thought my heart would break
with joy,
as we stood there
behind her,
so newly widowed,
solitary,
with her bent and bony arm
lifted
in the air.
