Michael Ramsden just concluded Session 3 of the National Conference. Look for the video and audio to be available for download on Monday. Here are some high points and stimulating questions asked during his message:

Are we silent about the gospel because we secretly fear it isn't true?

Do we have intellectual doubt?

It is obvious that we have a concern for the nations? Is this discernable in how we use our time and resources?

Some questions are born out cynicism and skeptism, and others from doubt and confusion. They are very different. Questions born out of skeptism never really want an answer. Cynicism says anything related to the gospel is simple chance: asnwered prayer, fulfilled prophecy, etc.

Is it possible that some here are asking God for the nations? And the simple truth is that even if an angel came and told you that your're prayer has been heard, you would respond in skeptism.

Do we have moral shame?

Do we squirm when we're asked why it had to be the cross? Can we tell about God's justice and mercy?

The primary struggle most people have about the gospel in the Western world is moral. Most complaints about God are not his existence, but his moral character: Why is he not more obvious? Why is their suffering?

Is the Church just a group of comfortable people living convenient lives. The gospel is not convenient. It tells us to lay down our lives for other people.

Is it possible that all we are interested in is ourselves? Is it possible that "our gospel" has left us so unmoved that we won't go anywhere to do anything for anyone?

The reason God doesn't want us to be somewhere is not because he doesn't want us to die. We will all die. And we will not add or lose a day.

Is it possible that if you were perfectly honest that you say you are disappointed with your Christian life? You thought it would be more. The gospel of Jesus Christ does call us to more.

Join us for the next session with Michael Oh at 2:45 PM (EDT). Watch the live-stream in English or Spanish.
